Sticky Situation
This is my children's bathroom ceiling and those things that look like paper wadded up is actually bath soap.
Apparently my children has lost their minds! They thought that it'll be a good idea to cut up a perfectly good bar of soap and throw it up at the ceiling. This took a lot of effort because our ceilings are pretty high.
I'm wondering why it never occurred to them that they'd get in trouble for this. I'm sure the fun of it far outweighed any punishment they'd get in their minds.
I don't even know why or how I even decided to look up at their bathroom ceiling but luckily I did. This cost them $2 each. I asked who was responsible and since either of them wanted to own up to it and placed the blame on each other, I told them that I'd be taking half of the total amount for the cost of the soap from both of them and they had to clean it up themselves.
This happened about 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting to see who did it. Until I hear the absolute truth, I'm keeping the 2 bucks! Sucks to be them... ;)
Happy Hump Day everyone!
Now that's a first for me! And way too funny! Well, not so much for them... ;)

Too funny! I know someone this happened to, but their son managed to get blobs of toothpaste on the ceiling. If we could just channel all that crazy kid energy to do something useful like clean the house!
ReplyDeleteHAH! Too funny. LOL Always fun trying to get it off the ceiling!
ReplyDeleteThanx for stopping by ladies. :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, toothpaste? That sounds like it got everywhere including the ceiling. lol.
The things come up with to entertain themselves is hilarious. It really would be better if that energy went to clean the house ;)
I charge my kids for doing things they are not supposed to as well. Sometimes I wonder WHAT my kids are thinking......I've never been able to figure it out. :)
ReplyDeleteI have orange wads of goo on my son's ceiling right now! Kids!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my. So I guess it's more common than I thought, lol.
ReplyDeleteI think the charging them idea has worked because ever since that happened they've been super helpful and nice because they think I'll keep taking their money. ;)
That's hilarious!
