Inspirational Mondays - "Have Faith!"

Start off your week with a little Inspiration I decided to switch it up a bit and post an Inspirational Passage this week!

Inspirational Passage:

"I heard a story about this famous tightrope walker. One day, they stretched a cable across Niagara Falls and when the conditions were just right, the tightrope walker took a wheelbarrow and pushed it on the tightrope all the way across Niagara Falls and back. The huge crowd watching just went wild! They couldn't believe what they just saw. Then the man put his German shepherd in the wheelbarrow and did the same thing. Next, one of his sons got in the wheelbarrow. He pushed him all the way across and all the way back. And throughout the day, different members of his family got in that wheelbarrow and he did the same thing.

Later in the day, the tightrope walker noticed a man in the crowd that was so excited. That man had to be his greatest fan. And so he went over and asked him, "Sir, do you think that I can do this again?" The guy kind of laughed and said, "I don't think you can do it again, I know you can do it again! I've been watching you all day long." The tightrope walker said, "Well, do you really believe I can do it just one more time?" He said, "Yes, I'm absolutely certain you can do it one more time." The tightrope walker said, "No, you don't really believe that I can do it again." The man kind of got offended and said, "What are you talking about? I've been watching you for hours. I am absolutely, positively, one-hundred percent sure you can do it again." The tightrope walker said, "All right then, get in the wheelbarrow." Suddenly, that man had to be somewhere else and was running late. He took off!

See, this man believed with his head, but real faith is of the heart. When we really believe, then deep down inside we know that we know that we know that we can trust God, and He is going to take care of us. I am asking you today to get in the wheelbarrow. Dare to step out and trust God. Don't just think it in your head; show it with your actions. You may have to step out of your comfort zone, but God is faithful. No matter what you've been facing, turn those situations over to God. Dare to believe because when you believe, all things are possible! " - Joel Osteen

Have a blessed and prosperous week everyone! :)

Wordful Wednesday! - "Suck It"

Jump on the "Wordful Wednesdays" Band wagon with Angie.

Click her button below!

It's munchkin # 3 sucking his sneakers!

Do you think he was hungry? To my defense, I had just finished feeding him. He's just obsessed with his toes and tried adamantly to suck/chew his sneakers off in order to reach his toes. I love how flexible babies are. I happen to think babies sucking their toes is the cutest and funniest thing ever.

I heart him :)

Inspirational Mondays - "Let go & Let God"

Aloha and Happy Monday my blog Ohana!!

Here's your Inspirational Quote for the week:

"Let go of all offenses and give them to God. You can accomplish so much more when you allow forgiveness to fill your heart. It is then that the door to your heart is open and you make room for God to release His healing in your life." - Joel Osteen

"Give your burdens to the Lord, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall (Psalm 55:22, NLT)."

Have a fabulous and blessed week everyone!! :)

Wordful Wednesday! - "R.I.P. Ethan Loney"

My Wordful Wednesday's a little sad this week.

If you wanna link up, click on Angie's cute little button below.

Every Sunday the lovely Supah uses her blog voice to share the struggles of a cute little boy named Jaden Duttine. He's going through the tribulations of having cancer and was best friends with another cancer fighter named Ethan Loney.

On April 9th, precious Ethan left this world with all the pain he'd endured to join his master and be free from all the trails of having cancer. It's such a terrible way to lose a child and such a tremendous burden for a child to bear.

I shared Ethan's story with my own children and they were moved by it. So when Supah asked us to release a white balloon in Ethan's honor my kids asked "Mommy can we send it up to him?"

And so they did...

R.I.P. Dear Ethan...

Inspirational Mondays - "Recognize your influence!"

Start off your week with a boost of inspiration!

Inspirational Quote:

"Do you recognize the influence you have on the world around you? Are your thoughts about yourself positive, filled with hope and encouragement? Perhaps no one ever took the time to encourage you, or maybe some unfair things happened in your life that stole your confidence; that doesn't change your value or significance. Don't let what others have said or done stop you from living with purpose and enthusiasm. If you'll rise up today and see yourself as God's special treasure selected by Him and for Him, then no one can keep you from your destiny!"

"You may feel "ordinary" today, but remember, you too are writing the pages of history! Dare to be bold and believe that you are a person of destiny because you are a person of influence, and you can leave your mark on this generation." - Joel Osteen

All the best and many blessings to you all!

Happy Monday everyone!! :)

Be Right Back...

My brain's been pretty fried for the past few days from having to prep/pack to move this Thursday. So I've decided to take a day off from blogging cause gosh darn it, I need it. I've been pulling double duty for the past few months and it's starting to catch up with me.

Plus I have my Macaroni Kid newsletter to prep to publish this Thursday. So I had to drop something off my to do list and sadly, it had to be my blog. Boo!! I know, I know. How dare I not provide my blog friends with fresh, new content EVERY day right? I'm oh so sorry.

No worries though. I have good news. It's only TEMPORARY!!

I shall return but until then, I shall miss you my dear blog friends. ;)

Inspirational Mondays - "Get your thoughts right !"

It's another Monday, time to send some positive energy and inspiration your way.

Inspirational Quote:

Today, if you are struggling to stay excited about your life, if you struggle with staying passionate, why don't you make a list of all the things that you have to be grateful for. If you have your health, write it down. If you can see, write it down. If you've got a job, write "I've got a job." "I've got family." "I've got friends." "I've got children." Make that list and then every day before you leave the house, go over it two or three times and get your mind going in the right direction. Remember, your life is going to follow your thoughts, so get your thoughts going in the right direction so you can live with passion and enthusiasm the way God intends! " - Joel Osteen

Have a blessed and prosperous week my friends.

Happy Monday!! :)

So I usually save Thursdays for my venting days and join the lovely Kmama in her "Thank You Very Much Thursdays" but it seems that my girl Dumb Mom from Parenting BY Dummies has taken over the blog world, he he ;)

Anywhoo, I figured I'd just go off on a rant on my own. I've had a CRAZY busy week and I'm truly exhausted. It's funny because this time last year I was moping around and complaining about the littlest things. Sure I blamed it on the hormones of me being pregnant but in all honesty, I gave God so many reasons to not bless me early last year.

I guess it was just a way for me to deal with the fact that with every new duty station hubby gets sent to, it means I end up moving further and further away from my loved ones. I was excited to move to Hawaii but I knew I was leaving my BF/lil sis behind in Cali and I was gonna be that much farther away from my east coast family and that was a hard truth to swallow. I also knew that the chances of getting visitors were slim to none because we rarely got visitors when we lived in Cali since my peeps are a little frightened of flying.

Anywhoo, this year I promised myself that I wouldn't complain about anything (big, he he) no matter what. Sure I can still fuss a little bit about simple little things like Chip always waking me up in the middle of the night, or the baby chomping down too hard on my boobies, or the boys constantly fighting over games that are the size of a wheat thin, or hubby constantly messing up the laundry or the fact that I miss wearing sweaters. I'm talking about being more appreciative of where I am right now.

I have to believe that God has me exactly where he wants me to be. I made a promise that this year I'll work my butt off in one of the things I feel passionate about and that's writing. So far it's been an amazing experience. I've gotten to connect with so many wonderful people and even got to start my very own business at home doing what I love to do.

I'm almost half way through the year and I'm already excited about what's to come by year end.

I'm a happy camper and truly grateful ;)
