I've battled with posting this as my first post coming back to the blogging world but alas, it's real life. Our dearest, sweet, warrior of a dog, Chip is now in doggy heaven. It's still so unreal that we now refer to him in the past tense.
He was a fighter dog from the very beginning. Our beautiful Hawaiian dog who LOVED to nap, get treats, head and belly rubs. He was so chill that after 5 min of playing fetch, he sat down and stared at us as if we had issues for continuing to throw his toy. It was hilarious. He commanded our lives but in the best way possible. He was such a great traveler and overall loving but super protective dog.
He survived a worm issue, eye removal surgery, being attacked by a dog 3 times his size (from thinking he was bigger than he was), a butt issue, and a bobcat bite (while recovering from eye surgery) only to be taken from us due to anemia, stomach ulcers and a blood issue. I wish we didn't have to say goodbye because we loved him so much. There will never be a dog quite like him. We will miss him sorely.
